The Subtle Life of Rocks

There is a fantastic book by a fellow called Marko Pogacnik titled, “Nature Spirits & Elemental Beings”. This fellow is a harbinger of “new earth healing”. He works with “geomancy” and a method he calls “lithopuncture“.

According to his view of working with earth healing - the earth is a multidimensional living organism. (Probably not new to many of you).

Yet, so often we fail to “see, hear, feel, taste, smell” that - our heads are so full of “stuff” - we miss those subtle, beautiful, powerful connections with the earth. Our lives are filled with humans, so much so, that we fail to even “see, hear, taste, touch, smell” each other and I am not speaking just about our physical senses. We are so disconnected from our real senses that we miss so much.

Animals don’t do that. Plants don’t do that. They are still connected to their subtle senses. They still operate from that place/space - we are just too blind, deaf, and dumb to experience it. Yet, those very senses lay dormant within us - dormant only through a lack of use.

Have you noticed it is only animals who spend a lot of time with people who display neurotic symptoms??? Interesting I reckon!!! What does that say about us as a species? We love to think of ourselves as being the most intelligent species on this planet and yes we have the potential to be that but we are also very ignorant to the gifts of all the other species that share this planet with us that benefit us more than we realize.

We keep looking to technology to save us - but maybe the answer is much simpler than that. Whilst we depend upon technology maybe we block more subtle gifts that are more in harmony with nature itself.

Every life form evolved from the first amoeba (at least that is the predominant belief for now) and memory is passed on through the DNA. So each of us, right now, has the memory of the very first single celled amoeba that made this planet “home”. As a result I reckon our potential is unlimited. Yet, to discover this we have to embrace the life forms and their habitats that we are currently making extinct. We have to learn from them more than just mere information - maybe there will be a day where humans will regrow limbs just like lizards??? That doesn’t come from technology!!! Sure we can think up ways with technology, but I am speaking about the “simpler” way.

Often times we have to wait for science to catch up to our imaginations. Yet, I have already read of various sages, masters of the past who have achieved these things. Yes, these feats to most people are “fiction”. Yet, eventually science will prove them to be “real” and then we will realize we don’t need the technology we currently depend upon, we never did. It is only now whilst we still have not opened up our imaginations and our “belief” that we require it.

The picture below is from one of my meanderings to connect with nature and I have to say, these rocks have “Soul”. Doesn’t it look a bit like a turtle???

From a distance it looks different again - the face is more distinct - and it is not that of a turtle. Maybe later I will post that one.
